Version 0.1.5 öffnet A7InfoLR für Sonys APS-C-Kameras. Eine irrtümlich vorhandene Beschränkung auf Vollformatkameras wurde korrigiert — ausgelöst durch eine Rückmeldung zur Sony A6700 (ILCE-6700). Damit werden jetzt auch die spiegellosen APS-C-Modelle unterstützt, nicht mehr nur die Vollformat-Alphas.

Version 0.1.5 opens up A7InfoLR for Sony's APS-C cameras. An erroneous restriction to full-frame cameras has been corrected — prompted by feedback on the Sony A6700 (ILCE-6700). The mirrorless APS-C models are now supported too, no longer just the full-frame Alphas.

Bei Aufnahmen der A6700 erschien die Meldung „Kamera ist kein Sony-Vollformatmodell – wird (noch) nicht unterstützt". Das Plugin ließ irrtümlich ausschließlich Vollformatkameras durch, obwohl die MakerNotes der APS-C-Modelle intern bereits vollständig ausgelesen werden konnten.

For shots from the A6700, the message "camera is not a Sony full-frame model – not (yet) supported" appeared. The plugin erroneously let only full-frame cameras through, even though the MakerNotes of the APS-C models could already be read in full internally.

Die Beschränkung wurde korrigiert: A7InfoLR akzeptiert nun alle bekannten Sony-Modelle — Vollformat und APS-C. Damit funktionieren neben der A6700 auch die übrigen APS-C-Alphas, sofern ihre MakerNotes dem bekannten Sony-Format folgen. Künftige Modelle werden zudem nur noch an einer zentralen Stelle gepflegt.

The restriction has been corrected: A7InfoLR now accepts all known Sony models — full-frame and APS-C. Alongside the A6700, the other APS-C Alphas now work too, provided their MakerNotes follow the known Sony format. Future models are also maintained in a single central place from now on.

Wer bereits eine frühere Version installiert hat, ersetzt einfach den Ordner a7infolr.lrplugin durch die neue Fassung. Eine ausführliche Installationsanleitung (Windows und macOS) steht im Beitrag zu 0.1.3.

If you already have an earlier version installed, simply replace the a7infolr.lrplugin folder with the new one. A detailed installation guide (Windows and macOS) is available in the 0.1.3 post.
